Twelve women over 50. Twelve weeks. One safe place to come home to yourself.

Hello, I'm Tammy

I was the steady one, and I called it a good life.

For thirty years I worked in healthcare, beginning as a nursing assistant in hospice and later serving as a patient advocate and in quality and compliance, and in every one of those rooms I did the same thing. I asked why. Then I asked why again, because I have always believed there is a thing beneath the thing, and that nothing makes sense until you find it.

At home I was the woman who kept everything running. I remembered the birthdays, I smoothed the hard days, I said yes before I had checked in with myself, and somewhere along the way I made my own life very small so everyone else's could stay big. From the outside it looked calm and capable. On the inside I was tired in a way sleep never touched.

Then, at fifty two, I went through cancer treatment, and I carried much of it alone, because that is what the steady one does. Sitting in those waiting rooms, I finally turned my favorite question on myself. Why did I do this alone? Why couldn't I ask anyone for help? Why did saying no feel like danger?

The answer wasn't that something was wrong with me. I was running on a survival pattern, and it had been protecting me for most of my life.

Learning to see that pattern, understand what it was guarding, and let my body believe it was finally safe changed everything for me. My children grew up, the house got quieter, and the hours that used to belong to everyone else started asking who they belonged to now. I just turned sixty, and I can tell you that I'm not starting over. I'm coming home to the woman who was always underneath the rules.

That is the work I do now, and it's the work I want to do with you. We don't fix what isn't broken. We understand it, we thank it, and we choose what comes next.

The Patterns to Purpose Method

Four steps, one gentle direction

Everything we do together moves through the same four steps, so you always know where you are and where we are heading. I've walked real women through these steps, and what they told me along the way shaped the version you see here.

Maybe you're the one who says yes too fast. Maybe you're the one who can't let anything go undone. Maybe you stay busy so you don't have to stop. These are different faces of the same survival instinct, and you don't have to fit one to belong here.

01

Reveals

We uncover the patterns running quietly beneath the surface of your days. For some of us it's saying yes before we've decided. For others it's holding everything together so tightly that no one can help, or staying so busy that we never have to feel what's underneath. However it shows up in you, we get curious about it together, because every one of these patterns began as a way to keep you safe.

02

Redirects

We shift your focus and your daily energy toward what you truly desire, and away from what you've spent years being afraid of.

03

Grounds

We settle each breakthrough into your body, so your nervous system feels safe enough to actually live the way you now know you want to live.

04

Sustains

You leave with practical tools to stay aligned through the ordinary, unpredictable days that life will keep sending.

An invitation

The Patterns to Purpose 12-Week Group Cohort

This is a small, close circle of twelve women over fifty, and we stop at twelve on purpose. This twelve week journey has been walked before, and I built what you'll find here around what helped women most.

The circle stays small because a group this size means you are known by name, heard fully, and held by the same women week after week. Nobody gets lost in a crowd, and nobody has to perform.

If you recognize yourself in the yes that comes out before you've decided, the need to handle everything yourself, the busyness that keeps you from ever stopping, the stomach drop when you think about saying no, or the way you bristle when someone questions you and then replay it all night, you are exactly who this was built for. Those aren't flaws in your character. They are intelligent, tired survival patterns that have defended a lifetime of work nobody saw, and in this cohort we treat them with respect.

The Women's Discovery Symposium

I'm gathering interest in a day long, in person gathering in Central Maine, where we sit together and look at the patterns that no longer serve us. There is no date or place set yet, because I want to hear from you first.

Would you come? Tell me which day suits you and how far you'd travel, in a survey that takes about a minute.
